DATE: The by-election for Douglas South will be held on 27 August, 2020

TIME: Polling stations will be open from 8am to 8pm

PLACE: There are three polling stations for the Douglas South by-election:

  1. Pulrose Methodist Church, Pulrose Road
  2. Anagh Primary School
  3. Scoill Vallajeelt, Meadow Cresent

TRANSPORT: Michael Josem can arrange free transport to the polling station on election day. Please phone him on 07624 488557 for assistance.

CANDIDATES: Michael Josem is running to be a strong voice for Douglas South. You can read his manifesto for Douglas South online here about how he will be a strong voice to fight for local jobs, protect our health service, and ease the squeeze on household finances.

HOW TO VOTE: You can vote for a strong voice for Douglas South by simply placing a single cross in the box next to Josem:

Michael Josem is a long-term consumer advocate, most prominently as a global leader in combating fraud in the online gambling industry. He was in part the inspiration for the 20th Century Fox Movie, Runner Runner, starring Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake.

Josem has over a decade of experience as a senior business leader working across various high-tech and online industries, and takes action to build a better community. His primary volunteer roles include service for the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, and Graih, the homelessness charity.
