The UK’s Labour Party recently announced new policy outlines on gambling. There were two key areas: that online gambling rules would be updated to be broadly consistent with offline gambling rules, and that gambling-like services (such as computer game loot boxes) are regulated in a sensible way.

In an interview with Paul Moulton on the Isle of Man, I discuss how these ideas may improve the behaviour of the gambling industry, and further, how regulation should be increased to stop evil companies like Zynga from making slot machines for children as young as thirteen years old.
