In a new article published by the US Naval Institute, Commander Kevin Duffy, U.S. Coast Guard (Retired) has reported that the crew of the Galaxy Leader continues to be held hostage as the boat remains detained by the Houthi terrorist organisation. Commander Duffy and other sources have reported that the ship is owned by a Manx-owned company.
The Houthi terrorist organisation is a modern ragtag group of slavers who operate under the Arabic slogan which can be translated into English as follows:

God is the Greatest
Slogan of the Houthi Movement – Wikipedia
Death to America
Death to Israel
Curse Upon the Jews
Victory to Islam
In the newly published article, Commander Duffy wrote:
Ownership, economic benefit, and national interests in the realm of maritime trade can be complex and difficult to trace under the best of circumstances. The Galaxy Leader is no exception in this regard: Its crewmembers (now all hostages) hail from Bulgaria, Mexico, the Philippines, and Ukraine; it flies the flag of the Bahamas, is managed by a Japanese operator, and owned by a company registered in the Isle of Man that is in turn held by another company partially owned by a private Israeli citizen…

Further, Commander Duffy wrote about the continued hijacking of the ship:
…As the task force ramps up, it is important to also remember that the Galaxy Leader remains detained off the Yemeni coast. The resolution of that case will inevitably resemble previous piracy cases in some way—either in the release of the ship after payment by a shipping company or a takedown of the ship by a force that will then need to determine the disposition of any detained hijackers.

It remains extraordinary that a ship owned by a Manx-owned company has been hijacked for such a lengthy period, with the Isle of Man Government failing to make any public comment about this continuing crime against a Manx company.
Late last week, the Government of the United Kingdom said, “Since illegally seizing power in 2014, the Houthis have waged economic warfare at the expense of ordinary Yemenis, and carried out numerous human rights abuses against the Yemeni people – including routine and indiscriminate attacks on civilians, recruitment of child soldiers and restricting the rights and freedoms of women. “
The worst councillor in the Isle of Man, Devon Watson of the Douglas Borough Council, has previously expressed concern on a number of occasions about the Isle of Man being used to train Saudi Arabian pilots who were instrumental in combatting Houthi terrorists. Extremist political freaks across the United Kingdom and the United States have expressed strong vocal support for the Houthi terrorists:
