Earlier this summer, Honest Burgers launched a “smash burger” aimed to be a little lighter than the typical burger they serve. Thin and crunchy, they’re currently selling it with chips included for £8.50.
But what if you added MORE PATTIES?
Well, you get an incredibly meaty and tasty burger. Probably a little bit too fatty for the preferences of most people, but it is very simple: a whole lot of good quality and ethically conscious meat on a bun.
If I were to have this again, I would add extra cheese – it brought back memories of 2007, when I would get a triple quarter pounder from McDonald’s in Wangaratta on many Friday nights. The (Australian) McDonald’s beef was much juicier than British, and the burger included a great ratio of cheese.
