I’ll be resigning as Chair of Liberal Vannin, effective from Monday, 11 January 2021. I’m resigning to focus on a new professional challenge: establishing a new, Manx-based, not-for-profit organisation which I want to ensure is non-partisan. I’ll share more details about it when I can.

As Chair for the last 18-months or so, I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, and to advocate for the interests of the people of Mann.

After I consulted with the other members of the Liberal Vannin executive committee, I emailed the party members and shared a short note on Twitter. I didn’t expect this to be of broader interest to the public, but it seems that the IOM Newspapers, Three FM and Manx Radio thought it was. Go figure!

2 January 2020 update: Added the final paragraph and the header picture.
