Last night, one of the leading charities fighting to combat suicide in these Isles started training volunteers to help combat suicide on the Isle of Man. The training was delivered by experienced trainer and charity leader, Colm Kelly.

Ali Vondy and Paula Dunlop played key roles in arranging for the Isle of Man to host this training session, which was held at the Mountain View Innovation Centre, just outside Ramsey.

Participants were trained to take direct action to assist people at risk of suicide, with a particular focus on helping people to see hope in the future.
