The Mini ‘Parish’ Fun Walk for Kids is back in 2022! Last year, children from across the Isle of Man raised over £30,000 for over 60 different causes of their own choice.

This year’s details:

-Saturday 16th July 2022
-Arboretum, St Johns
-The event is for children only, in 4 age groups, age as on 31st August 2022.

Group A. 4 and 5 year olds. (To be accompanied by one adult) Max no. 75
Group B. 6 and 7 year olds.
Group C. 8 and 9 year olds.
Group D. 10 and 11 year olds.

Walking distances will be between approximately 1.0K and 2.5K depending on age group.

Number collection from 10am. First event at 11am. 4 separate events, ending approx. 2.30pm

The events will commence in the Tynwald Fair field, proceed into the Arboretum, and finish back in the Tynwald Fair field.

The route will be set around the ‘Parish’ signs in the Arboretum, will be well marked and marshalled by Rotarians and their families and friends, and other volunteers.

There will be a £5 entrance fee for each child, and each entrant will receive a sponsor form to raise their own money for their own charities.

Manx Timing Solutions will provide the start and finish clocks, and 1 interim timing point, the transponder tags for the printed bib numbers, the results and start sheets, registration online etc.

Medals and certificates will be given to each entrant.
