This week, I had the wonderful opportunity to take my Dad and Step-Mum on a little walking tour of London. Starting at the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, we walked through the City, through Royal Exchange, to St Paul’s Cathedral and various other sites. We ended up passing Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, and all the iconic sights.

This worked out really well: my Dad and Step-Mum arrived from Australia in the morning, and the walk took the whole day, before they fell asleep exhausted in the evening. Over subsequent days, they are taking the opportunity to actually go inside some of the buildings we saw from the outside.
